Restoration and Rebuke

Matthew 18:15-17 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
This trespass is not sinning in general, it is a specific offense between brothers!
16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
REBUKE
I Timothy 5:19-20 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses. 20 Them that sin (264 error) rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
Titus 1:9-11 11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
This is a different group, not brothers in the word that have not the gospel of Messiah.
Titus 2:11-15; 3:1-11 READ
II Corinthians 1:1-6 5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how Yahushua Messiah is in you, (John 17:23) except ye be reprobates (unapproved, rejected, worthless)? 6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.
KEY Scripture: I Corinthians 11:30-32
We often judge others for their holiness or sin. There is a right way to do that as these scriptures show. Many of us if you are not ready to take your condemnation to the body of the church keep your big mouth shut Let your conversation towards your brothers in Messiah be all toward comfort, exhortation, and exaltation. The old saying," if you don't have anything good to say don't say anything".
We are to pray for one another, the things that we report, short falls in the word, to one another is supposed to be done in love. If you tell everyone else and don't say anything to the person directly you are sinning, causing strife with rumor, a form of witchcraft.
Proverbs 9:8-10 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: (Matthew 7:6) rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
I Peter 1:23-2:5 Read
I John 5-10 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Father have mercy on our froward mouths as we speak evil upon our neighbors. Let the truth of Your word and the love of your Son dwell and reflect in our speech toward one another. Let our tongues be brought under your Holy Spirit's influence. When, we are corrected by our brothers let us receive in love the words of truth according to the word. May we receive correction that we offend not Your Holy Spirit. Let love reign in our lives one to another. Let Your Son be heard in our words.
Halle lu YAHUWEH Blessings upon your name.
